This has been around for some time now but nostalgia for these 8 bit sounds only gets sweeter. It’s a medley of hip hop songs recreated in classic NES 8 bit beeps and boops. The songs were created and arranged by Jesse Tugboat and the track list follows:

Jay-Z — Dirt Off Your Shoulders
T.I — What You Know
Chamillionaire — Ridin’
Ludacris — What’s Ya Fantasy
Bonecrusher — Neva Scared
Twista & Kanye — Overnight Celebrity
Ludacris — Move Bitch
Lil’ Jon — Get Low
Kanye — Gold Digger

  16. Ernesto says:

Love that “vocals” on Get Low are obviously *not* the radio edit.

  17. Cesar says:

It’s funny how, aside from vocals obviously, these tracks aren’t far off from the original tracks. And as time goes on and more and more drastic pitch shifting is acceptable, vocals are sounding more like nintendo sounds too.

What’s the deal with hard rappers wanting to sound like video game music? awesome.
